The trade association 'Tyre specialists' of the confederation 'FEDERAUTO' is a Belgian association of wholesalers and retailers, repairers and service providers concerning all types of tyres: tyres for private cars, delivery vans, lorries, tyres for agricultural purposes, to use in constructions and street works, for motorcycles, etc

FEDERAUTO’s trade association of 'Tyre specialists' covers all of Belgium’s areas and represents more than 80% of the tyre trade that takes place via the tyre specialists with over 300 outlets and service points.

FEDERAUTO’s association of 'Tyre specialists' cooperates closely with the Commission 'Tyre manufacturers' of which all tyre brand groups operating on the Belgian market are members.  Within the confederation FEDERAUTO the association 'Tyre specialists' maintains regular contacts with the other tyre distribution channels, like service stations, car dealers, fitting stations, etc.

A Committee that is chosen by the General Meeting of all members for a 3-year term governs the 'Tyre specialists'.  This Committee meets once a month and deals with all issues concerning the general and individual trade interest of the members and the industry.

• Technical Regulation and technical inspection (check) of tyres and rims.

• Professional training: initial training and completion courses (extra training).

• Ecologically and financially wise collection and processing of waste tyres (Recytyre).
